Customized Food & Feed Processing for the Agrichemical & Biotech Sectors
GLP Technologies simulates commercial processing of agriculture crops using modified and fabricated small-scale equipment. This specialized machinery, along with good lab practices and deep experience, has allowed GLP Technologies to become a leader in small-scale food/feed processing, data collection and reporting while complying with EPA and USDA regulations.
Regulatory Knowledge
GLP Technologies adheres to EPA and USDA regulations for registration of pesticides and genetically modified agricultural crops. GLP follows the US Environmental Protection Agency’s guidelines (40 CFR part 160) for chemical registration, and processes genetically altered crops to meet the USDA’s stewardship requirements for regulated crops.
Standard Operating Procedures
GLP Technologies utilizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are revised as needed. Chemical logs, equipment cleaning records, routine and non-routine maintenance records, calibration records, etc. are recorded on a frequent and ongoing basis.
Specialized Processing Machinery
GLP Technologies utilizes proprietary equipment, either scaled down from larger machinery, or uniquely developed, that simulates industry technology in the processing of food and feed samples for analysis. In addition, large scale freezers, coolers and cool rooms are used for sample storage.
Good Lab Practices
GLP is among the first to successfully implement the EPA’s definitions of good lab practices for food and feed processing. All study data is proprietary, and only used for the purposes defined by the client. Data is exclusively provided to each client, and is also retained by GLP in order to expand upon the client’s previously conducted studies.
